Cuba, 2015

Cuba is a land frozen in time: abandoned economy; displaced culture; silenced identities. Still, Cubanos are some of the most resourceful, creative, pleasant people I've met around the world.

During our trip, we supported local churches in Jovellanos, a municipality of the Matanzas Province. We shared arts and crafts with handicapped children. Played baseball with future all-stars. Did a little hard labor and a lot of eating. And got some love from the locals.
