Live big stories. Share big stories. Inspire big stories. That’s the story I want to tell, at least.
I've directed music videos for bands under Universal Music Group, helped organize music festivals that drew in crowds of 20,000, produced and directed videos for local non-profits and national brands, and served as a content strategist for national brands.
Currently, I am a Content Strategist for Ramsey Solutions in Nashville, TN.
Previously, I was a Video Director/Producer with Vers Creative in Tampa, FL, where I worked on videos from concept to execution. In that role, my job was to bring out the best in every story while delivering projects within scope and within budget. To do that I combined skills learned in multimedia journalism, content marketing and advertising with video production know-how.
The key to any moving story is empathy—both for your subject and your audience. The ability to relate to people's pains and desires. I believe the best way to do that is to live fully in the space between comfort and discomfort, perpetually growing through life experiences: boxing, backpacking Europe, salsa dancing in the Caribbean, wrecking motorcycles on mission trips.
In 2011, my video journey began when I graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Telecommunications, Production. From there I started humbly as a busboy and part-time video guy, hustling side projects with local artists—graffiti artists, potters, DJs.
In 2012, I moved to Tampa ready for steady pay when I became an adman at Florida's largest agency, Triad Retail Media. There, I developed content strategies and wrote copy for short- and long-form media—video, social, mobile, web—as well as client-facing marketing and sales materials for SamsClub.com, Walmart.com, DollarGeneral.com, CVS.com, PetSmart.com, Staples.com, and OfficeDepot.com.
In 2018, I left Triad to hone my video skills at Vers before moving to Nashville. Now I help people spread hope through financial peace and am happily employed.
