Primavera Music Festival // Social Media Director
I'm the Damon Albarn of social media. Partially for my range of musical interest. Mostly for intermittent hiatuses from social media. Coincidentally, after a four-month break in 2017, I was asked to execute the social media campaign for a first-ever music festival, with only four months' lead time.
In fact, we only had four months, overall, to prep, plan, promote and put on the inaugural event. The result? 13,000 attendees; 400 volunteers; 45,000 Easter eggs; 4 bands; 75 mentors recruited for at-risk youth. In the second year (2018), we grew to 12 bands, added a second stage, brought in a giant Ferris wheel and hosted 20,000 guests.
